Here's the story of the picture:
Lea is a little girl who likes to explore unknown's planets. Today, she's gone to Orius, a very far from Earth satellite which is very hostile to extra-Orius visitors.
Taken fear, she called upon her protective genius, Mucus, under the Arch of the Incantations. Destroyer of fear, the grumpy balloon moves away all evil waves from his small protegee.
In return she offers to him the crossing of the doors towards other dimensions...

I have started this picture after drawing a quick sketch showing an old man looking like a scientific with unscientific clothes. I keep the general pose from this sketch and have try to adapt it with CG technique.

The begin of work was to illustrate some worms going out a tobacco package, but I found this idea more fun after some Lovecraft reading.
